Creation of the domain name and website
What if I already own my own domain and/or hosting?
If you have already purchased your own domain name and host… yes I can still build you a fast seo friendly website when you purchase the $300 pack up front. We can discuss our goals for your website through email and even over the phone if you’d like.
What if I want you to do it all?
Before I purchase your domain name you must pay the first installment (1 of 2) for $150. I will send you a bill via email for you to pay. Once you pay I’ll buy the domain and purchase hosting for the first month. Once hosting is set up (usually two days), I’ll begin the process of building your site. Once the site is built I’ll send you a bill for the remaining $150. Then every month you’ll receive a bill from me via email for $35.
The domain name is your property. If at anytime you want to go with another monthly maintenance company I’ll take the steps necessary to transfer the domain into your name. If you would like to purchase the domain name yourself I’ll be glad to walk you through the steps. However, once purchased you’ll have to give me the username and password to the website where you bought the domain so I can begin setting up hosting.
Monthly Maintenance
I charge $35/month to host your website. The monthly maintenance plan includes 3 updates at any time within the calendar month. An update is when you need a change to the website such as a price update or a new photo added. You can have three of these per month. Unused updates do not carry over to the following month. If you need more than 3 updates in a calendar month I will charge you $20 for each additional update.
I’ll send a bill each month via email. Payments are processed through paypal.
If you stop paying me I’ll stop hosting and the site will be shut down. However, if you want to stop paying me the monthly maintenance fee I’ll tell you how to set up an account with internetplanners.com so you can pay for the hosting without my updates and maintenance.
However, this will mean that if your site is compromised in some way or hacked, there will be no one to get it back up and running. If you choose not to purchase my monthly maintenance program and your site goes down (and it will eventually)… I charge $100, up front, to try and get your site back up. I should be able to since I’m going to keep a backup of your website on file even if I built your website a long time ago.
