There are now over ten restaurants in Hattiesburg which feature sushi. Peking Garden, Wabashi Sushi, Sake Cafe, China Buffet, Oishi Ishi, Little Tokyo, Sakura, Sho Ya, and now Sushi Fusion are just a few of the hot spots offering sushi to Hattiesburg patrons.

The Hattiesburg American recently reported that: “Over the past decade, Hattiesburg’s sushi-specializing eateries have multiplied from one to about a dozen. Restaurateurs and owners say the cuisine’s health benefits and community’s cultural open-mindedness help attract new customers and build a regular customer base.”

If you’re trying to eat healthy make sure and avoid fried options. Also, avoid eating too many rolls and using mayonnaise or sauces which adds fat to the meal.
